Program Overview
The Future of Quantum Isn’t Just Theory — It’s Practice.
EQIP (Experiential Quantum Immersion Program) is a 12-week experiential learning program led by Quantum Machine Learning PhD and Ingenii CSO, Dr. Laia Domingo.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of QML, apply your knowledge in real-world scenarios, and collaborate with a small, driven cohort of quantum-curious professionals. Whether you're coming from data science, research, or engineering, EQIP is built to help you build confidence and clarity in your quantum journey — through hands-on learning, not just slides.
Only 20 seats are available for this Fall’s founding cohort. One seat will be fully sponsored by Ingenii — determined by need and merit in the cohort application
What You’ll Get
Hands-on QML experience
Gain practical experience designing and applying quantum machine learning methods to real problems, beyond theory or toy examples.A portfolio-ready project
Leave the program with a concrete QML project you can showcase in job applications, interviews, or future research.Exposure to real industry use cases
Understand how quantum technologies are being explored today across different sectors, and where meaningful opportunities lie.Career and research opportunities
Connect with researchers, practitioners, and peers working in quantum, opening doors to collaborations, PhD paths, startups, and industry roles.Recognized credentials
Earn a certificate that validates both your technical and professional growth in quantum machine learning.
-
You receive live Quantum Machine Learning lectures delivered by Ingenii’s Chief Science Officer. The lectures focus on core and advanced QML algorithms, with a strong emphasis on real applications and practical problem formulation.
Each session is accompanied by exercises and short projects designed to reinforce the material and help you apply what you learn. The content is grounded in recent research and reflects how QML is used in practice today, not just in theory.
-
You take part in an immersive, hands-on session focused on identifying where quantum technologies can deliver the most value. Using Ingenii’s Exchange platform, you work with your peers to brainstorm, validate, and structure real project ideas.
The lab is designed to help you connect your newly acquired QML skills to concrete applications, assess feasibility and impact, and leave with a clear roadmap for projects you can realistically develop beyond the course.
-
After the QML lectures and the Quantum Innovation Lab, you develop your own project aligned with your area of interest. You work in small groups and turn an initial idea into a concrete quantum machine learning project.
Throughout the process, you receive close mentorship from Ingenii’s Chief Science Officer, helping you refine your approach, make sound technical decisions, and build a strong foundation to continue growing your career in QML.
-
Participate in quantum hackathons where you tackle concrete problems and compete to design the best solutions. These challenges expose you to a wide range of industry-relevant use cases and current applications of quantum machine learning.
Hackathons are also a key opportunity to engage with the broader quantum community, test your skills under real constraints, and gain experience working on problems that matter beyond the classroom.
-
At the end of the program, you will showcase your project to a wider audience from the quantum and industry communities. This is an opportunity to present your work, receive feedback, and connect with researchers, practitioners, and potential collaborators interested in real-world quantum applications.
-
At the end of the program, you receive a certificate of completion of the immersion program, highlighting both the technical and professional skills developed throughout the experience.

What People Are Saying
“EQIP was a fantastic program to learn about Quantum Machine Learning. It was great to be in a live class every week instead of watching pre-recorded lectures. The pre-built Jupyter notebooks for the exercises were extremely helpful to reinforce each concept.”
— Kai Madden
Data Strategy Leader
“As a physician-scientist working at the intersection of AI, medical imaging, and quantum computing, EQIP gave me both the technical foundations and the confidence to start designing hybrid classical-quantum approaches for real clinical problems.”
— Antonio Lima Junior
Neuroradiologist & AI Researcher
“Thank you for providing this awesome opportunity to learn QML and for giving us a deep dive into different algorithms without making it hard to understand. The lectures on advanced QML techniques and the final project were the most valuable part of the program.””
— Raouf Ould Ali
Competitive Programmer
“EQIP is a valuable and enjoyable learning experience. The lectures are clear, insightful, and right to the point, and the assignments are helpful and excellent. Dr. Laia guided and supported us through the EQIP research project and the final research presentation.”
— Dr. Ziad El Khatib
Associate Professor, Global Health
“The entire program was an amazing experience and well worth it. It was the first time I understood quantum computing in that way, and the graphs and pictures were really helpful.”
